Bakery and Birthday's
This week I celebrated my birthday and I can't imagine a better place to celebrate a birthday than working at a bakery. Especially Larsen's Bakery.
Dave the Dishwasher gave me two (yes, two) candy bars and a card, our office manager brought in an excellent casserole for lunch, I got balloons tied to my scooter (yes, I ride a scooter)and of course an awesome birthday cake.
But more important than the gifts is the genuineness of the people that I work with and the customers that shop in our bakery. We celebrate everybody's birthday with some sort of fan fair and its "fun". Birthdays are "fun" and it's great to work with people who embrace that no matter what their age.
Thank you to the employees and customers at Larsen Bakery for making my birthday something special.
