This really has nothing to do with Bakery but it does have to do with the life of a baker.
The transmission on our Van has been slipping when it has been really cold. Logically, I check the fluid and it is low. No problem, just get some fluid and fill it up....however, here is the really weird part. The dipstick has markings to tell you it is low in fluid. The dipstick has markings to tell if it is low when the car engine is warm; it has markings to tell you where the fluid should be when it is hot. But...BUT it doesn't tell you how much fluid you should put in! And worse on the dipstick in BIG BOLD, ALL CAPS it states "DO NOT OVER-FILL".
You know you need to put some in, just not sure how much.
After decades of car manufacturing, the markings can't denote if you are 1/2 quart or a full quart or a teaspoon low?
Does anyone else out there find this a bit confusing? A bit frustrating?
